What is AutoGPT
AutoGPT is an agent platform with chat-based creation, a visual builder, scheduling, integrations, run monitoring and a marketplace, offered as managed cloud software or free self-hosted open source.
Cloud plans
As of August 1, 2026, Pro costs US$42.50 per month billed annually. It includes standard AutoPilot Chat usage, major model families, persistent background agents, the visual and chat-based builders, file-aware agents, scheduled and event triggers, run visibility and email support.
Max costs US$272 per month billed annually and includes 8.5 times the Pro AutoPilot Chat allowance, five times the file storage, early feature access, integration-library expansion and priority support. Team is marked coming soon with custom pricing for multi-user workspaces, roles, central billing, collaboration, approvals and security options.
Automation usage and self-hosting
Agent and workflow runs are separately pay as you go through a prepaid credit wallet on both cloud plans; the dashboard reports model, compute and premium-integration cost per task. Self-hosting has no AutoGPT licence fee or seat limit and supports bring-your-own model keys and compute.
