What is Braintrust
Braintrust is an AI evaluation and observability platform for tracing applications, scoring outputs, running experiments and managing prompts and datasets.
Plans
As of July 31, 2026, Starter costs US$0 per month and includes unlimited users, projects, datasets, playgrounds and experiments, US$10 of monthly model credits, 1GB of processed data, 10,000 scores and 14-day retention. Overage rates are US$4 per processed GB and US$2.50 per thousand scores.
Pro costs US$249 per month and currently includes US$249 of monthly model credits, 5GB of processed data, 50,000 scores and 30-day retention, plus custom charts, environments, priority support and basic RBAC. Overage rates fall to US$3 per processed GB and US$1.50 per thousand scores; longer retention costs US$0.50 per GB-month. Braintrust's documentation says the promotional Pro credit becomes US$100 per month after September 1, 2026.
Enterprise uses custom annual pricing and adds custom limits, retention and exports, SAML or OIDC SSO, audit logging, SLAs, BAA, premium support and SaaS, BYOC or self-hosted deployment. Qualified early-stage startups can apply for six to twelve months of Pro access without the platform fee.
