What is Coda AI
Coda is now Superhuman Docs, and Coda AI is transitioning into Docs AI. The product remains a collaborative document, table, database, automation, and app-building workspace, with AI used to write, analyse, build structured views, and automate work inside docs.
Core offerings
- Collaborative docs with tables, views, formulas, forms, and automations.
- Docs AI for writing, editing, asking questions, and building trackers, pages, and views.
- Model Context Protocol access for connecting Docs to supported AI tools.
- Role-based Maker billing with Editors and Viewers free.
Pricing
As of July 25, 2026, the official Superhuman Docs pricing page lists Free at US$0, Pro at US$12 per Doc Maker per month billed annually or US$15 billed monthly, Business at US$33 per Doc Maker per month billed annually or US$40 billed monthly, and Enterprise with custom pricing. Coda Pro maps to Superhuman Pro and Coda Team maps to Superhuman Business for customers choosing the new suite.
Free includes collaborative docs, connected tables, views, forms, formulas, automations, and limited trials of Docs AI and MCP. Pro adds unlimited doc size, AI writing and building features during beta, full MCP access under fair use, 30-day version history, custom branding and domains, and broader integrations.
Business adds databases, unlimited automations and version history, private team folders, locking controls, cross-doc actions, group training, and additional suite products. Enterprise adds SAML SSO, SCIM, AI administration, governance, audit events, advanced access and user controls, and enterprise compliance support.
Superhuman states that the earlier AI credit system was paused on July 8, 2026 during the transition to Docs AI. Paid Makers currently receive generous beta access under a fair-use policy, so the older Coda AI credit add-ons are not presented as current new-customer pricing.
Model footprint
Docs AI is sold as an integrated assistant rather than a separately metered foundation-model API. Its MCP support is intended to keep the document as a system of record while users work with supported external AI tools.
Why select Coda AI
Superhuman Docs is worth shortlisting when teams want AI, structured data, documents, and automation in one collaborative workspace. Its Maker-based billing can also be attractive where many collaborators edit or view work but only a smaller group builds docs.
