Windsurf is an AI coding environment built around Cascade for codebase-aware chat and editing, Windsurf Tab for completion, Previews, and app deployment. It is the current product identity for the platform formerly associated with Codeium.

Pricing
As of July 21, 2026, Windsurf’s official usage documentation lists Free at US$0 with 25 monthly prompt credits, unlimited Windsurf Tab and Previews, and one app deployment per day. Pro is US$15 per month with 500 prompt credits, all premium models, and additional credits at US$10 per 250.
Teams is US$30 per user per month for up to 200 users, with 500 prompt credits per user, central billing, an analytics dashboard, priority support, and optional access-control features. Enterprise is US$60 per user per month for up to 200 users, with 1,000 prompt credits per user, RBAC, SSO and SCIM, longer model context, and the highest support priority. Additional Team and Enterprise credits cost US$40 per 1,000 pooled credits; custom deployments and FedRAMP-related needs require an annual sales engagement.
Product footprint
Each premium-model message consumes prompt credits according to that model’s multiplier, while some models remain available for zero credits. Monthly prompt credits reset and do not roll over; purchased add-on credits can carry forward while the paid subscription remains active.
