Cursor is an AI-native code editor that combines tab completion, interactive agents, frontier-model access, cloud agents, code review, skills, hooks, and Model Context Protocol integrations. Its subscriptions bundle model usage and allow metered on-demand usage after the included amount is consumed.

Pricing

As of July 21, 2026, Cursor lists Hobby at US$0 with limited Agent requests and Tab completions. Its official pricing documentation lists individual Pro at US$20 per month, Pro+ at US$60, and Ultra at US$200; the annual pricing page displays Pro from US$16 per month. These individual tiers include progressively larger Agent allowances, with the docs describing US$20, US$70, and US$400 of guaranteed API-priced Agent usage respectively, plus possible bonus usage.

For teams, Standard is US$40 per user monthly or US$32 per user per month billed annually. Premium provides five times Standard’s included usage at US$120 monthly or US$96 per user per month annually. Team plans add central billing and administration, a team marketplace, agentic code review, shared context for cloud agents and automations, usage analytics, team-wide privacy mode, and SAML/OIDC SSO. Enterprise is custom priced and adds pooled usage, invoice billing, SCIM, repository and model controls, audit logs, and priority support.

Product footprint

Cursor usage is tied to the underlying model cost rather than a fixed message count. Model choice, large-context Max Mode, and background or cloud agents can consume allowances at different rates; on-demand usage continues at the applicable API-priced rate after included usage is exhausted.
