What is Label Studio
Label Studio is a multimodal data-labelling and human-evaluation platform available as an open-source Community Edition and paid HumanSignal cloud and enterprise products.
Plans
As of July 31, 2026, Community Edition is open source and self-hosted with no software subscription price. Starter Cloud starts at US$99 per user per month, supports up to 12 users and includes a fully hosted service, support portal, configurable multimodal interfaces, role-based access, quality workflows and automated task distribution.
Enterprise uses custom pricing and can run in HumanSignal's cloud or on premises. It adds SAML or LDAP SSO, programmable and embeddable interfaces, enhanced quality analytics, LLM-as-a-judge, auto-labelling, bulk labelling, SOC 2 and HIPAA options, priority SLAs and advanced support. Separately scoped data services are quoted after a consultation.
Buying notes
Community Edition users supply their own infrastructure and support. Starter and Enterprise prices do not include any separately commissioned human data-creation, annotation or domain-expert services.
