What is LlamaIndex
LlamaIndex provides open-source frameworks for agents and data workflows alongside commercial LlamaCloud services for parsing, extraction, indexing and managed agents.
Plans
As of July 31, 2026, the open-source LlamaIndex and Workflows frameworks have no software licence fee. LlamaCloud Free costs US$0 per month and includes 10,000 credits, up to 100 users and basic support. Starter costs US$50 per month, includes 40,000 credits and supports pay-as-you-go use up to 400,000 credits. Pro costs US$500 per month, includes 400,000 credits, supports pay-as-you-go use up to four million credits and adds Slack support.
Enterprise uses custom pricing and can add volume discounts, five-times rate limits, SSO, SaaS or hybrid deployment and a dedicated account manager. Free, Starter and Pro each list up to 100 users.
Credit usage
One thousand credits cost US$1.25. Basic parsing can start at one credit, while advanced parsing, extraction, indexing and agent actions consume credits at their published rates. Actual cost depends on document volume, pages, processing mode and downstream workflow usage.
