Playground is an AI design platform for generating and editing visual designs, images, graphics, and branded content. Its plans combine rolling Playground generation limits with monthly credits for selected third-party image models.
Pricing
As of July 27, 2026, Free costs US$0. Pro costs US$15 month to month or US$12 per month billed as US$144 annually. Pro Plus costs US$45 month to month or US$36 per month billed as US$432 annually.
Free includes five Playground v3 image generations in each rolling three-hour window and three monthly credits for Nano Banana, GPT Image 2, Seedream, and supported image edits. It does not include Nano Banana Pro generation.
Pro raises Playground v3 to 75 images per rolling three hours, supplies 150 monthly credits for standard supported models, and includes ten Nano Banana Pro generations. Pro Plus provides unlimited Playground v3 generation within the displayed rolling limit, 1,000 monthly standard-model credits, and 250 Nano Banana Pro generations.
Credits and API access
The pricing page states that one Nano Banana Pro generation uses four credits, so generation counts depend on the chosen model. Playground’s API is offered selectively to partners generating at least one million images per month rather than as a standard self-serve plan.
Why select Playground AI
Free is suitable for testing the editor, Pro fits regular individual design work, and Pro Plus is aimed at high-volume creators who need a much larger third-party-model allowance.
