What is Qdrant
Qdrant is a vector database and similarity-search platform available as open-source software, a managed cloud service, hybrid cloud and private deployments.
Cloud plans
As of July 31, 2026, Free Tier is free forever and includes a single-node cluster with 0.5 vCPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of disk and free cloud inference through selected models. Standard Tier uses resource-based pricing for production workloads and adds dedicated resources, vertical and horizontal scaling, high-availability options, backup and disaster recovery, free tokens for paid inference models and a 99.5% uptime SLA.
Premium Tier requires a minimum spend that Qdrant does not publish as a fixed amount. It adds SSO, private VPC links, a 99.9% uptime SLA and extra support. Hybrid Cloud and Private Cloud are quoted for customer-controlled infrastructure, regulated workloads, isolation and custom SLAs.
Usage billing
Paid managed clusters are billed hourly for the vCPU, memory, storage and backup storage they consume, plus paid inference tokens. The exact amount depends on cloud, region and cluster size and is calculated through Qdrant's live calculator. Card and AWS, GCP or Azure Marketplace billing use the same Qdrant rates.
