What is Rev AI
Rev AI provides speech-to-text, translation, alignment, language identification, and speech-understanding APIs alongside Rev’s human transcription service. Its public API pricing is usage based rather than seat based.
Speech-to-text pricing
As of July 28, 2026, new API accounts receive free credits equal to five hours of Reverb ASR. Reverb transcription costs US$0.20 per audio hour for English, Reverb Turbo costs US$0.10 per hour, and Reverb foreign-language transcription costs US$0.30 per hour across more than 56 languages.
Whisper Fusion and Whisper Large each cost US$0.005 per minute for English. Human transcription costs US$1.99 per minute. Usage is rounded to the second with a 15-second minimum.
Additional APIs
Forced alignment and language identification each cost US$0.003 per minute. Translation costs US$0.002 per minute on Standard or US$0.025 on Premium. Sentiment and topic extraction cost US$0.0008 per ten words; summarisation costs US$0.002 per minute on Standard or US$0.025 on Premium.
Enterprise pricing is negotiated for higher volumes and can include custom rate limits and terms, additional evaluation credits, enhanced security, a dedicated account manager, and priority support.
