Tableau Pulse delivers AI-generated metric summaries, automated insights and proactive questions inside Tableau Cloud. Core Pulse is included with every Tableau Cloud and Embedded Analytics edition; premium agentic capabilities require higher-tier packaging.
Tableau Cloud pricing
As of July 30, 2026, Tableau Cloud Standard includes Pulse and costs US$75 per Creator, US$42 per Explorer or US$15 per Viewer each month, billed annually. It includes browser authoring, Tableau Desktop and Prep Builder, up to three sites, and Pulse metrics and digests.
Tableau Enterprise costs US$115 per Creator, US$70 per Explorer or US$35 per Viewer per month annually. It adds Data Management, Advanced Management, eLearning and support for up to ten sites.
Cloud+ and the Tableau+ Bundle use custom pricing. Cloud+ adds Tableau Agent in Pulse, authoring, Prep and Catalog, Premier Success, Release Preview and up to 50 sites. The Tableau+ Bundle adds Tableau Next and Data 360 capabilities.
Licensing notes
Every Tableau Cloud deployment requires at least one Creator license and an annual contract. Pulse itself has no separate standalone fee; premium Pulse and Tableau Agent features are packaged with Cloud+ or Tableau+.
